AUVSI New England UAS and AAM Summit Set

The New England Chapter of the Association of Uncrewed Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) is dedicated to professional development, networking, public outreach, and advocacy in support of robotic or automated vehicle systems with a particular focus on the New England region.

Join us at our annual summit and learn about the latest developments in UAS (uncrewed aircraft systems or drones) and AAM (advanced air mobility) from the perspectives of businesses, federal regulatory agencies, state transportation organizations, operators, and technology developers.

New England has hundreds of companies, large and small, working on the advancement, development, production, and utilization of uncrewed systems. Applications range from inspecting infrastructure and airspace safety to building a new ecosystem of clean aircraft for new forms of mobility. The Summit covers these diverse topics, along with a demonstration of new technologies.

When: Wednesday-Thursday, October 4-5, 2023

Where: Northeastern University Innovation Campus at Burlington, Massachusetts, 147 South Bedford St., Bldg 5, Burlington, MA 01830.

Real world perspectives for AAM planning and implementation.

Complex UAS operations today.

Ensuring airspace safety around airports.

Counter UAS programs.

Critical technologies to enable beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations.

Drones as First Responder (DFR) programs.

Industry implications for evolving regulations.

.Massachusetts leadership guiding global AAM road maps.

Reinventing airports for electric flight.

Speakers to Include leaders from: The FAA, Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), MassAutonomy, Northeastern University, CTO Raytheon Unmanned Vehicle Systems, U.S. Air Force, as well as industry innovators in AI, robotics, and advanced sensing from the New England area and beyond.
