The Droning Company has been keeping an eye on AI-controlled drones for a while, such as in our article, "U.S. Air Force Drone Is Its Own Pilot."

Now, it appears AI clones have evolved to replace the humans who devise the drone tech, as well as, um, all of us.

Delphi is offering everyday people the opportunity to clone themselves. From a limited free plan to a Prodigy tier at $399 per month, you can create an AI clone.

Dara Ladjevardian—Delphi's co-founder and CEO—did it, and even let his clone do an interview on the FOX Business show, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street.

"The purpose of having a clone is to scale your unique way of thinking and interacting," the Ladjevardian clone told Bartiromo. "It allows you to share your knowledge, experiences and personality with others in a personalized way. This can be incredibly valuable for mentoring, teaching or even just sharing your insights with a broader audience. Your clone will know you well, because it learns from the content you provide. You can upload blog posts, videos and other materials that reflect your knowledge and style. Plus, you can engage in interactive Q&A sessions to fine-tune its responses."

Then, it was time for human Ladjevardian to add some perspective...

"The goal of Delphi is not automation, but rather augmentation," said the flesh and blood version of the CEO. "I think that humans will always opt to learn from and converse with real humans, because there are experiences behind those humans. I don't fully buy the AI therapist that's going to help you with everything in your life, because it lacks humanity. There's no experiences behind that, and so what clones do is actually give humans the scale of AI. AI is never stopping. It's generating 24/7. The internet is supposed to be 96 percent AI by 2026, but when you have a clone, you can reach that scale as a human and make sure that your specific words are out there reaching people."

If you want to clone yourself using Delphi tech, you'll need to adhere to the company's strict data-privacy measures. For example, you will need to vertify your identity by submitting a photo where you're holding an ID. Any tricksters or frauds will be permanently banned. Delphia promises that only authorized users will be able to interact with your clone, and that you have full control over the information it shares.

And back to the clone Ladjevardian...

"The technology outlives people and preserves their memory for generations to come, allowing future generations of great-grandchildren to interact with clones of those who came before them and learn about their lives."
