Michael Foglietta is a U.S. Navy Submarine Veteran, University of Arizona alumnus, and a survivor of a sudden brain AVM rupture. His life is defined by two distinct "befores and afters"—his service to his country and his journey of reclaiming his narrative after a life-altering medical crisis.
As the founder of FogyDroneServices.com, Michael translates the discipline and technical precision of his naval background into high-end aerial solutions. Specializing in FAA-certified drone operations, Fogy Drone Services provides professional aerial photography, videography, and inspections. Whether capturing a unique perspective for a real estate project or providing critical data for inspections, Michael delivers results built on a foundation of military-grade reliability and cutting-edge technology.
Beyond the cockpit, Michael is a fierce advocate for the disability community. Living with the "unseen" challenges of sudden disability, he recognized a massive gap in how survivors and their families navigate recovery. This led to the creation of his Dual-Track Recovery Journal series—specifically designed for those adapting to PTSD and Sudden Disability.
By offering specialized editions for both the Survivor and the Caregiver (The Anchor), Michael’s work ensures that no one walks the path to healing alone. His Disability Manifesto serves as a rallying cry for a community that is often "seen, but unseen"—proving that while the body may be broken, the spirit remains unbreakable.
Based in the Tucson area, Michael continues to "Bear Down" by supporting fellow veterans, mentoring through the Wildcat network, and helping families find their footing in their "new normal."
