About:
Experienced drone pilot and UAS expert since 2016, specializing in utility inspections, aerial photogrammetry, and BVLOS operations. Based in Brandon, MS. As an experienced drone pilot, I bring a deep understanding of the UAS industry, having been actively involved since 2016. My work has spanned coast to coast—from California to Maine and across the South and Southeast—primarily in the Electrical Utility sector, supporting both transmission and distribution (T&D) operations. I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Director of Training at a prominent UAS service provider, where I led the development of comprehensive curricula and trained pilots for demanding industrial applications. Later, as Director of Operations at a UAS training company, I helped prepare both internal pilots and clients across a wide range of topics, including the Part 107 exam and advanced BVLOS operations. That work included multiple aircraft types, including U.S.-designed and manufactured multi-rotor and VTOL platforms. My experience spans utility inspections, aerial photogrammetry, LiDAR flights and processing, RTK operations, and long-range BVLOS missions. Across all of it, one theme has stayed constant: repeatable processes and clean data matter—especially in complex field environments where safety, documentation, and time-on-task are always competing priorities. That’s one of the reasons I built FlightLogger Pro. In May 2025, Take One Media released FlightLogger Pro for drone pilots, an iOS app designed to make standardized checklists and flight logging fast, simple, and dependable—because I wanted a tool that worked the way pilots actually work in the field. FlightLogger Pro helps pilots reduce repeat typing, capture location and weather quickly, and keep operations organized with repeatable challenge/response style checklists. It’s built to support real-world workflows like T&D inspections where the pace is high, sorties are repetitive, and documentation still has to be right. In addition to piloting, I’ve owned and operated a media and marketing company since 2011. This background has equipped my team and me with the expertise to deliver high-quality data capture and visualization. We leverage professional RTK systems and GNSS base/rover setups for precision aerial photogrammetry and stable inspections. Based in Brandon, Mississippi, I’m fully prepared to travel as required to meet the demands of our clients.
