Although the mysterious drone swarms bedeviling the East Coast in late 2024 and 2025 were ultimately explained away by the White House as being "authorized" by the FAA and "not the enemy," unidentified drones apparently remain a problem.
Just a few hours ago, in fact, unexplained drones were detected over Fort McNair, Washington D.C. At press time, no one could identify the drones, where they came from, or what they were doing.
But given security concerns because of the U.S. military campaign in Iran, the Fort McNair drone sightings are prompting more scrutiny—especially as Secretary of State live on the base. Though not confirmed, there were allegedly some discussions regarding relocating Rubio and Hegseth.
“The department cannot comment on the secretary Hegseth’s movements for security reasons," said Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell when asked about the rumor by the Washington Post.
