Mirs-X—a prototype drone developed by professor Ben Chen and his team at the Chinese University of Hong Kong—can zoom in the air for about six minutes or dive underwater for 40 minutes.

As reported by New Scientist, the drone is waterproof to depths of up to ten feet. Given its dual role in the sky and under the sea, Mirs-X is a possible future asset for search and rescue operations and insfrastructure inspections.
