When Stuart Smith founded The Droning Company he was, admittedly, looking for a growing industry with far more consistent revenue potential than what he had experienced as a professional guitarist—even a guitar player who had performed in one iconic band (The Sweet) and one well-regarded group with five albums to its credit (Heaven & Earth). After all, the usual ups and downs of the commercial music industry aren't very welcome when you have a daughter to support.
But Smith wasn't solely looking out for his own needs. He also wanted drone pilots to have a resource for news, education, and, more importantly, finding jobs.
This quest—aided and abetted by other true believers in The Droning Company concept—resulted in perhaps the most comprehensive and effective job board for drone pilots in the United States.
But whether you are currently considering joining The Droning Company community, or are already one of our fabulous members, the big jobs won't magically appear unless you do a little work to create a Pilot Profile that wows potential customers. It's like anything else in this promotionally driven culture: "Blah" won't get your phone ringing or your email in box filled up.
You need to astound. Inform. Inspire.
And broadcast to clients that you are absolutely the right pilot for the job they are looking to fill.
We can help you do that.
The Droning Company's Chris "The Drone Geek" Fravel has produced an educational video that succinctly details all you need to know to create a winning Pilot Profile that should entice clients to send jobs your way.
We recommend you spend the less-than-three-minutes you'll expend watching Fravel's video tutorial to get hip to what it takes to deploy your Pilot Profile on The Droning Company site as a tool for contacts, jobs, and revenue.
We'd finish by saying "good luck," but you won't need it if your Pilot Profile is totally rocking!
